“ The food was a pleasant twist on Mexican. One dish; Pollo Loco (crazy chicken) had some Chinese veggies. The lunch fajita was excellent; too much food, but yeah. Decor was simple Mexican cafe type. The waitstaff was well above average. Courteous, professional . ”
“ Me and my family decided to come out for the first time and I can already tell this will be my new favorite restaurant! The place was busy but our food still arrived quickly and hot. The place was clean and the staff were all very respectful. ”
“ There's so many options if you get there around 5:00 it's not packed your food is fast and they almost always get your order right if you wanted Mexican I would most definitely go here! ”
“ Very nice group of workers here and Excellent Food. I always order the Quesadillas but am ready to try something else others have recommended. The parking lot is always packed which makes me think this place is a favorite for a lot of people. ”
“ Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Sumter. We stopped in the day after moving in and we were quite impressed. We went during the week and they weren't busy but the food and service were excellent. The chips for salsa were fresh cooked but we learned they have a secret salsa you can ask for if you don't like that generic tomato stuff. The special salsa definitely has some kick so eat at your own risk. Since that first visit we also ordered take out and again the food was great. Definitely will be our go to spot for Mexican food. ”
“ I love mariachis we go multiple times a week normally it's quick, good, and great workers. ”
“ By far my favorite Mexican food establishment in Sumter. A shame they are closed on Sundays. My recommendations: 1) Fajitas on rice (or fajita nachos if you prefer). The meat is tender but has that browning from the grill that makes it absolutely delicious, and the Mexican rice is always perfect and they smother it in a plentiful dose of melted white cheese. You can specify with or without peppers and onions, and with steak or chicken (or shrimp), or even mixed. 2) Steak or pork chile colorado. Their red sauce is boss. This dish is pretty much my litmus test as to whether a Mexican restaurant knows what they are doing. Most of their other food offerings are great as well, but honestly pretty standard given any good Mexican restaurant. I will add that their molcajete, chimichangas, and shredded chicken in general could be better, but those aren't really my thing anyways. Just FYI if those are your go-to entrees then you won't be overly excited as they are pretty average, in my opinion. The service is always amazing, and I have had every server they have ever employed tend to me and my family, and I don't have a single complaint over 10+ years of eating there. To be fair, we are regulars and they all recognize us. The decor isn't anything special, but we have never waited to be seated even when the place is packed, which is astounding in itself. They do have an outside patio with tables if that's your thing, so they can seat very large groups outside. Inside they just have booths. Food rating: 5 stars simply because of how good their outstanding dishes are. Service rating: 5 stars for previously stated reasons. Ambience rating: 3 stars. The place is clean and functional, but don't expect to be blown away by art or architecture. ”
“ My mom and I had a late lunch at Mariachi's in Sumter recently, and it was delicious. We were in town visiting my dad at a physical rehab center nearby, and even on a Saturday and an off hour (3 PM), it was busy but the service was prompt. We started out with the complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa had a kick to it. If you like mild salsa, you may need to request it or order cheese dip, guacamole or something else, but the salsa was perfect for us. I had a Lunch #21- Quesadilla Sincronizada. Don't ask me how to pronounce the name of this dish, but it was a quesadilla that had shrimp and cheese inside, along with veggies pouring out. It came with a guacamole salad as well, so I definitely got my greens in. The portion was large and the price was right. My mom had a Lunch #13, Pollo Borracho. This dish consisted of grilled chicken with peppers, onions, and sauce on top, salad, and rice. She gets similar dishes at the Mexican restaurant close to home, and she liked this. It was also a large portion. Our server was nice and prompt with getting us menus, chips and salsa, our food, and the check. The glasses of water were huge and we didn't need any refills, nor did we need to-go boxes, but he checked on us anyway. Hopefully he won't be in the rehab center too long, but if he is, I'm glad we found a Mexican restaurant close by. ”
“ Really like this Mexican place too but anytime you have a big crowd you have to sit on the outside covered deck space in plastic chairs. I don't really like plastic chairs. Food is generally similar to any Mexican place, quantities and taste is all very good. Again plastic chairs is not a good thing. ”
